Christmas Abbott NASCAR crew pit member
It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas!
Christmas Abbott was born December 20, 1981, in Lynchburg, Virginia. Standing at 5’3 and only 115 pounds, Christmas has the ability to deadlift 255 pounds. I think it is safe to say she is one of the strongest women in the world. It is Christmas’ strength and speed that earned her a spot as a front tire changer for Michael Waltrip Racing, making her the first female pit crew member in NASCAR history.
When her friends asked if she wanted to compete in a NASCAR challenge, Christmas thought she would be driving. She had no idea it was be a pit crew challenge.
“But once we started doing the challenges… I immediately had interest in it. We did a couple challenges and I beat the boys, and I just fell in love with it that day.”
Christmas says that her gender isn’t a factor when she’s standing on the pit wall.
Christmas is also a CrossFit Competitor, Olympic Lifter, fitness trainer and author of her first book The Badass Body Diet.
All of these gifts under one tree! Merry Birthday Christmas!
